dianabol; it's the second anabolic steroid ever created and one of few synthesized for the sole purpose of performance enhancement. More importantly, since its inception dianabol has remained one of the most popular steroids of all time; where other anabolic steroids have come and gone, dianabol has always remained. In many ways, it's not that surprising; after all, it works very well, provides remarkable results and is generally one of the more well-tolerated anabolic steroids in healthy adult men. As the old saying goes, why mess with a good thing? Of course, as this is an anabolic steroid, like all anabolic steroids, and for that matter, all non-steroidal medications there are dianabol side-effects.
dianabol side-effects, as is with the side-effects of most anabolic steroids are for the most part labeled as "possible" and not guaranteed. This is a very fundamental distinction, because it means with a proper understanding of the hormone most men will be able to avoid any dianabol side-effects. Of course, even with a sound base of knowledge there will be exceptions, but this is the case with all things we put into our body from steroids, to pain medications to even many forms of vitamins. Even so, the key to successful supplementation will always be education, for when we understand the possible side-effects then and only then do we stand a chance at combating or even avoiding them altogether. With this in mind, let's take a look at the possible dianabol side-effects and see what we can find.
The primary dianabol side-effects revolve around the steroids aromatizing nature; aromatization referring to the conversion of testosterone into estrogen. By its nature, dianabol does not appear to aromatize nearly as heavily as testosterone, but the variance in estrogenic induced side-effects appears to affect most men quite differently from one to the next more so than testosterone. For example, with a high dosing of testosterone, say above 1,000mg per week we can almost always guarantee the level of aromatase activity will be fairly high; it will still have variances from man to man, but it will be high. With dianabol, while it doesn't aromatize quite like testosterone, it is a hormone many men can take with very high does with little to know severe aromatase activity, but just as many can't.
At any rate, regardless of one's dosing you need to be aware of the primary dianabol side-effects just the same. Most of the primary dianabol side-effects are some of the most common side-effects associated with anabolic steroids, but there is one in particular that dianabol carries with greater potential than most of its counterparts. We're speaking of course of high blood pressure, and dianabol is notorious for increasing it. Beyond high blood pressure, due to its aromatizing nature this is a steroid that can lead to Gynecomastia (male breast enlargement), as well as excess water retention; the excess water retention can often be quite substantial. dianabol also has the ability to affect your cholesterol levels, both HDL and LDL; lowering the former while increasing the later.
In-order to avoid the primary dianabol side-effects, the first order of business will always be supplementing with a responsible dose. Most men can tolerate 20mg a day very well, while many still can tolerate as much as 50mg per day. In truth, 50mg per day is about as much as any man will ever need, but some will choose to go higher. If you do, you need to understand the risk of adverse side-effects becomes much greater beyond this point; it increases with every dosing increasing, but appears to increase in risk substantially for many past 50mg. Beyond dosing, the best thing you can do to provide protection is supplementing with an aromatase inhibitor (AI) as this will directly inhibit the aromatase process, as well as decrease your total estrogen levels. Most will find AI's such as Arimidex and Letrozole to be the best choices. Reasonable doses and AI use will do wonders for any man, but simple lifestyle habits are important as well. Consuming a diet that is cholesterol and blood pressure friendly is very important; ensuring you have plenty of Omega Fatty Acids in your diet will greatly serve you.
As eluded to, while most dianabol side-effects are possible and not guaranteed, there are three that occur that are exceptions to the rule; testosterone suppression, testicular atrophy and liver toxicity. Like all anabolic steroids, dianabol will suppress natural testosterone production; in this case, dianabol appears to suppress LH by about 80% as well as reducing total FSH output by 30-35%. For this reason, as testosterone is manufactured in the testicles and such production is now suppressed the testicles simply shrink; it is inevitable and will occur in every man. Due to this suppression, if you are to avoid a low testosterone condition it is imperative you provide some form of testosterone remedy. The form does not matter; all that matters is you provide enough exogenous testosterone to combat a low level condition as such a condition is very unhealthy. Of course, there's good news; once use has been discontinued, and all anabolic steroids have left your system your natural testosterone production will begin again, and your testicles will return to their normal size.
As we can combat low testosterone easily with testosterone therapy, and as the primary dianabol side-effects can be avoided with AI use and a proper diet, so far we're pretty much in the clear. Even so, there is one side-effect that remains the most concerning of all, and it revolves around the steroids hepatotoxic nature. As are most oral anabolic steroids, dianabol is a C17-aa steroid; C17-aa referring to a structural change of the hormone at the 17th carbon position. This structural change is necessary to the hormones survival; otherwise, it would be destroyed by the liver and rendered useless to the body. While this alteration is essential, it also makes dianabol toxic to the liver, and as such, caution must be applied. Most will find they should never exceed 6-8 weeks of use, with most keeping it at 6 weeks max, and never using it again until at least 6 more weeks have passed. We can make exceptions, but this is a good rule of thumb. Further, you will necessarily avoid heavy alcohol consumption when supplementing with dianabol, as well as all OTC meds where possible. Excess alcohol is far more damaging to the liver than dianabol and will only add more stress to the liver, and many OTC meds are so hepatotoxic they blow dianabol out of the water.
If you want successful use, and we're assuming you do, if you follow the guidelines from above that's what you'll get almost each and every time. The reason we cannot say every single time is due to the unique, individual nature we all possess; for example, most of us can take Aspirin or Tylenol; most of us can eat peanuts and dairy products, but some of us can't do these things. Some men will be so sensitive to the dianabol steroid adverse effects will occur no matter what they do, but they will be in the minority. In any case, we can define successful use quite simply, as successful use is any use that does not cause you harm. If harm is caused, this is not successful use, but if you guide your use with the above, success is the only thing the majority will garner.
